What is your Track Experience?
Our Track experience is a newer experience designed predominantly for younger children. It is a simpler age-appropriate yet fun driving experience on an all-weather track in a dedicated paddock area at Bidlea Dairy, Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Our Off-road Experiences for Children are strictly for children 5-9-years old but our Track Experience is designed for 4-8-year-olds – though you are welcome to drive up till the age of 10.
Are adults allowed to drive?
Yes! Unlike our Off-road Driving Experiences for Children, adults are allowed to drive with children 2-3-years-old – those too young to drive independently (subject to certain vehicle availability). Children 4-years-old and above must drive independently.
Do I need to book?
No. Just turn up! Our Track Experience is a semi-permanent experience meaning we are open year-round – even in the winter, but we're not open every day or even every weekend. Please check website and social pages for open dates and times – which vary depending on the time of year. You pay per number of laps around the track you drive. Cash and card are accepted. Simply pay the member of Mini Off-Rovers' staff running the Track Experience on the day.

What is Bidlea Dairy?
Bidlea Dairy is a working dairy farm owned by the hardworking, passionate and dedicated Brown Family. They produce dairy products with the milk from their award-winning herd of Holstein-Fresian cows including milk, flavoured milks, cream, butter, cheese and most recently, ice cream! On-site is a café, including ice cream parlour, which sells homemade hot and cold food and drinks. There are indoor and outdoor seating areas with views of Jodrell Bank. The Dairy and it's café are very popular with families near and far, as well as cyclist and community groups.

Are their any special events on at Bidlea Dairy?
Yes. 'Springtime at Bidlea' is an annual sell-out event!
'Springtime at Bidlea' gives families an opportunity to talk to farmers and enjoy lots of hands-on experiences. It's an exciting event for children and adults featuring demonstrations, animal handling and lots of fun and hands on role play activities and crafts. Little ones can feed lambs and calves, collect eggs, hold chicks and learn how to plait a pony's tail and more. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
Look out for other special activities at Halloween and Christmas.
Is there anything else to do at Bidlea Dairy?
Yes. As well as our mini Land Rover Track Experience, Bidlea Dairy is also home to Holmes Chapel Zoo! Come and see the variety of animals at this community zoo including meerkats, skunks and wallabys for a general admission fee. They also offer a range of Animal Experiences – 40-minute close encounters with animals in the care and expertise of a zoo keeper.
